New Website is Jewel in Parquet’s Crown
Crown Parquet is a young, growing company based in Henley-on-Thames. The company imports wood flooring from China which it supplies to the Headlam Group, one of Europe’s largest flooring wholesalers. The company was founded early in 2007, and director Phil Nicholson immediately recognised a website was essential to raise the company’s image and status.
Director Phil Nicholson takes up the story: “When it came to appointing a web development specialist, Bob Young of IRUN Banbury came highly recommended from one of Crown Parquet’s business contacts. After an initial meeting, Bob produced a proposal for Crown Parquet, based on our company requirements. The new website’s function was to inform, rather than to generate sales. It was to be an information resource, showcasing new product lines and providing technical information to the resellers and fitters.”
Phil continues: “The website went live in May 2008, and is doing exactly what was intended. A great deal of time was previously being spent in responding to telephone enquiries. Now, the website provides the necessary information, freeing up valuable time and resources.”
Bob Young of IRUN Banbury comments: “Currently, IRUN Banbury is managing the site for Crown Parquet. Phil however, intends to take part in IRUN’s internet marketing webinars to increase his knowledge and, in time, will take over the site himself. Phil also intends to explore some of the other services IRUN provides and may decide a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and a digital media brochure will further enhance Crown Parquet’s image.”
Phil concludes: “We really appreciate what Bob has done to raise the profile of Crown Parquet. The website does exactly what we wanted it to do – it is perfect! If I hear of anyone who needs a website, I’ll be first in line to recommend IRUN Banbury.”
